Just for those who are new to this list, I believe Cariadoc is
referring to the recipe called *Moorish* Chicken that contains
bacon. Please correct me if I'm wrong, Cariadoc.

Moors are Moslems and the Moslem religion, like the Jewish, forbids the
eating of pork.

But then some Moslems seem to think the civilized nations of Europe are 
barbarians, so I guess there is ignorance on both sides.
