Personally, let the curious in.  You never know if that person, who just asks 
what seems idle questions at the time or just watches, may be the next great 
feastacrat or biggest helper if given a chance. 

Remember This IS a game or Hobby.  We all want to have fun.  We generally go 
to events to met with friends of like mind.  For some its the party.  Some 
its the battles.  Some its the crafts.  For Me, I love history, I love 
Research.  Cooking.....learning, friendships.  I love to do everything and 
try to do it.  Not always well, especially the first time.  There have been 
many times in the past years that I merely watched someone do a task, somehow 
got involved and usually ended up having a good time.
