As a former Ansteorra, now of Trimaris for the last 9 years or so,  I
remember one baronial revel in Ansteorra a very very long time past where
the above dichotomy was less that optimal.  When I heard who was to be "The
Lady Autocrat" and who was to be "The Lady Feastocrat" I replied "...and who
will be "The Marshal".

Forewarned of impending famine I brought a large crockpot and made beef
stew.  I still remember carrying it to my table in the corner as the wait
for feast dragged on and on and on.  I swear that I thought that they were
about to serve feast  when I opened the crock.  People turned their heads as
I passed and said "Is that the feast?"   Sadly embarrassed I was forced to
reply  "No I am very sorry but it's a private pot.   Feast will be along in
a minute I'm sure."
