Yep, not quite, but certainly very interesting!  Thanks for sharing!

The project I'm talking about most resembles the second set of plans, 
except for the fact that the sides of the box fold *up* instead of down; to 
make a regular-appearing flat table, with the "box" underneath.

I am trying to find the title/author of the book; it's not ours, of 
course...
