Sekainjabin syrup will keep quite well unrefrigerated. I made up a batch in
February for my roomies to take to Gulf Wars. It's still got about three
inches in the bottom of the bottle, clear, unadulterated, just fine. So
there's a couple of months of unrefrigerated storage. In Florida. ;-) You
take out the mint sprigs after the syrup is cool. I let it dry on some paper
towels, and we munch it as candy when we're out working in the pastures on
the farm. It's delish.
I mix it about 4 to 1 to dilute. It's wonderful stuff. And here in
Trimaris, it beats Gatorade (especially for those of us who just don't do
well with those chemical electrolytes). I live on it from April to November
around here. It's part of our gift baskets to the Crowns, usually.
Good luck.
Walk in peace,
Wolfmother
