Sekainjabin syrup will keep quite well unrefrigerated.  I made up a batch in 
February for my roomies to take to Gulf Wars.  It's still got about three 
inches in the bottom of the bottle, clear, unadulterated, just fine.  So 
there's a couple of months of unrefrigerated storage.  In Florida.  ;-)   You 
take out the mint sprigs after the syrup is cool.  I let it dry on some paper 
towels, and we munch it as candy when we're out working in the pastures on 
the farm.  It's delish.

I mix it about 4 to 1 to dilute.  It's wonderful stuff.  And here in 
Trimaris, it beats Gatorade (especially for those of us who just don't do 
well with those chemical electrolytes).  I live on it from April to November 
around here.  It's part of our gift baskets to the Crowns, usually.
