I buy an ounce (28 grams) of La Mancha saffron, last or this year's
harvest, depending on the date, pretty much the industrial standard
quality, i.e. quite good but not necessarily the absolute best, in a
little tin box roughly 3" x 5" x 2", in any of several Indian grocery
stores in my neighborhood for $28.
