I still remember one of my first feasts as head cook.  We had college
students as servers, who listened carefully as my lord husband identified
each dish, and repeated the (to them) exotic name to fix it in their
memories. As they carried out a certain dish in the second course, I heard
them softly reciting, "Ah-pul pie... ah-pul pie..."
