There are plenty of New World fish, too: most varieties of trout,
whitefish, most catfish, striped bass, black bass (I think), walleye
(sometimes called walleyed or yellow pike but no relation to esox niger,
actually closer to perch), as well as the blue crab, to name a very few
among many more.
