On your groundhog problem, the only other option you'll have is live
trapping him and moving him. Groundhogs dig their holes and live in them for
a number of years- I had one in my creek bank for 15 years that I'm aware
of. Actually, I've never had much of a problem with groundhogs- it's the
rabbits and sometimes the squirrels which will REALLY tear up a garden.
