Although I doubt I fit into that "colorful" part.

I really do hope you can make it to Pennsic. After being Crown you
deserve the break and a chance to enjoy things without all the 
responsiblities. Besides you've been shepherding this bunch of
high-spirited, sometimes opinionated collection of cook's for two
years and you deserve to meet some of them and vice-versa. Some of
us were disappointed not to see you at the last Pennsic Cook's dinner.
