the greater St. Louis area.
>There are no laws of any kind governing the distillation of alcohol

>There are no laws of any kind governing the distillation of alcohol
for personal consumption in the State of Missouri. They defer to
Federal laws/juristiction. (per MO ATF).
>PER FEDERAL ATF AGENT MARCUS SAMUELS, ST. LOUIS OFFICE (three years
ago), There are NO applicable regulations governing distillation for
personal consumption that are pursued by the Federal ATF on an active
level. Only when such distillation reaches a level where it is being
sold or traded for profit, or when criminal acts such as death or
destruction of property occurs, does the ATF move to prosecute.

To this, Damon adds:
You may be able to purchase tax stamps, and remove any stigma from
the whole process. In Georgia, the stamps are available at the state
office building, and cost $2.00 for 4 liters. If you have paid the
tax, you should have legal alcohol.
On the other hand, buying the stamps may draw more attention to you,
but you cannot be found guilty of possession of untaxed alcohol that
way.
