SC - frumente serving question

We made some this past weekend and I believe 1 cup of uncooked wheat gave 4 cups
when soaked and boiled.  I'm afraid I don't know what a frumente is but if you
are boiling the wheat you can count on about 4 times the uncooked amount.  We
figured on 1/4 cup per person.  My hubby burned half which of course wasn't
served and we still had enough, so 2 Tbs should be just about right.
