Ras answered my question about the murri in his feast recipes with:

Would you say it tastes similar to soy sauce? If different, can you describe
how it differs in taste? I notice you list it along with soy sauce as one
of your condiments for modern cooking. I believe others have said it tasted
like soy sauce, so I'm interested in hearing your opinion. I live a bit too
far to make your weekend event, unfortunately.
