Very edible, they both just pass through your system since they aren't
digested.  You are left with the intersting problem of the leaf getting stuck
on your teeth, which I guess is much more leegant that a piece of brocoli or
lettuce. . . :->

I've never heard of gold being toxic in any way which might be a problem for
some, since there are still people out there with gold fillings. . .
