Basically we pre-charged everyone UKP 10 for the workshop and feast. Listed
on the small print was the warning that whilst you could come up with a
replacement person, you didn't get your money back if you didn't attend. I
also repeated this to people when I sold the tickets. 
This may sound a bit bolshy, but was necessary. It doesn't generally bother
me (how many of us never pay for feast tests or extras from our own money?
few, I suspect) but nothing puts new people off so much as having to fork
out extra to feed other people at their own house (especially when they buy
a ticket also). A couple of people did drop out, but we'd already spent the
money, so it was their loss (both culinary and monetarily).

Thank you, yes I did enjoy it greatly. I will put the finished booklet up on
my website. Probably not until September depending on something else I'm
currently working on, but I will post the list when it goes up. To be
honest, I didn't take notes on the redactions as I was too busy, but there
wasn't a measuring cup in sight, so they're going to be 'free form' recipes
anyway. <smile>
