I used to work in a bakery and got all the plastic buckets (5-10 gallon) I
needed (a little sticky, but free).  Try restaurants too (you can be pretty
sure the buckets will be food-safe).  If you ask nicely, they'd probably be
glad to get rid of their buckets (if they just usually throw them away).
