Local dessert bar has a large, cross-stitched motto:
"Life is uncertain, eat dessert first."

I included the not very sweet Tartys in Aplis in one course, and a not very
sweet egg/almond/date/rosewater custard tart (name escapes me) in the second
course. Dessert was sweetened goat cheese (not terribly sweet, too tangy
for some) and bisket bread (not very sweet cake like object.)

Some people were thrilled to have gotten 3 desserts and appreciated the
other spices and flavors in each dish. Others declared them bland and not
sweet enough. (or, in the case of the cheese, rejected untried).

Bonne
