I would look first for Tondas- 'Chapel of the Pears' would be a place
name, but an indefinite one, like 'Chapel in the Pines' or 'Whispering
Woods' (I spent too many days in church camp as a kid). If you could
provide an example, such as 'Mary of Apple Valley' you might be able to
make a case....
