SC - blintzes, blini, crepes etc.

Greetings,

I have decided it might be nice to have a file on these blintzes, blini,
crepes, etc. Is there a generic name that all these could be classed
under other than perhaps pancakes-msg? Is this a term you would use if
you were searching in my files for similar info? If not, what term/name
would you look for first? These really don't seem to be flatbreads.

If anyone has any pointers to referances covering period use or recipes
for these, I'd appreciate a message on this. Were what we think of pancakes
in America available in period Europe? I'm thinking of pancakes that are
about a quarter of an inch thick and leavened.

Thanks.
  Stefan
