SC - Polish wafer recipe (long)

Frederich replies to (I hope :-) ) my comment that I was thinking of
cutting a design into a tortilla press for use as a wafer iron:

Probably. Or chisels and hammer or scribing tools. I had hoped to use an
acid to etch it, since my carving ability is only so-so, but apparently
acids don't work well on Alluminum. Now if I could find a tortilla
press made out of copper....
