SC - feast disasters

Now, there's pragmaticism taken to an extreme....

I attended a feast about three years ago where I observed one of the
servers chugging from a water pitcher to refresh himself and then going
on to pour water from it for the diners...

I did mention it to the head server, who gave said server a "refresher
course" in dos and don'ts of serving...
