Oatmeal is good for all sorts of things. I have CFS and eat oatmeal
and veggies one week a month. It really does make me feel a little
better. Not too sure why, but an official CFS web site recommended it.
I do however, use the steel cut oats rather than rolled. What a
difference. I may never use rolled again. I will say though that being
a carnivore by nature, by the Thursday of that week, I am salivating
for anything of the red meat protien type. Grrrrrr.

Your oatcakes certainly sound period. I'll bet if you looked hard
enough you could document it! Check your Scots documentation for a
start though.
