SC - "Chocolate in a Period Form"

Count me in as one who's bothered and embarrassed, Noemi. :-) There
are degrees of "not being as interested in making it as period as we'd
like", and as near as I can tell, most of the angst about trying to
rationalize the inclusion of chocolate officially stems from a--ah--
very *youthful* dislike of being told "no". Just "a lack of interest"
implies a passive way out when there is one very complex period option
(or expensive) and one cheap, easy modern option. That's not the case
here. The solution to chocolate in one's diet--and despite what friends
may claim, I have yet to hear of any legitimate doctor's prescription that
makes it mandatory--is just to leave it home for events, or keep it in
one's personal cooler and out of sight and out of contests and out of the
feast. I've yet to hear of a camp-to-camp cooler inspection.

It would be interesting to turn up at this with some serious attempt,
though, along the lines of what Ana and Lucrezia mentioned...'twould
be interesting, to see the faces made.
