SC - Multiple removes/courses?

Are multi remove feasts period for an early Viking feast? I am serving
soup, and then roast meat,grain,and a vegi dish, then a dessert. I see
three removes, but others in the planning team want to put everything
on the table at once(except dessert)  Any opinions? Any advice?
