WHAT A GREAT IDEA!! I was wondering how to deal with the bits that didn't 
grind properly!  Maybe that's why YOU are the teacher and I am the student!

 I grind in the coffee grinder and then sift, returning the large bits to the 
 grinder and repeat until it is all finely ground. I do this with all my 
whole 
 spices that need to be ground. >>
