I doubt you are going to find any true recipes, because I don't think
any exist, but you may find some mentions of some various foods and some
recreations using conjectures from what is known.

You might take a look at this file in the FOOD-BY-CULTURES section of my
Florilegium files:
fd-Norse-msg (36K) 9/17/99 Norse and Viking food.
fd-Iceland-msg (36K) 12/ 6/99 Food of medieval Iceland. Recipes.
fd-Ireland-msg (37K) 12/ 6/99 Medieval Irish food. referances. recipes.

A number of the recipes in the last two files are likely to be later than
the Viking Age but the Vikings did visit the areas. Different Norse groups
"visited" different countries though.

You might also check these files in the NORSE section:
N-drink-trad-art (18K) 7/31/98 "Norse Drinking Traditions" by Gunnora
                                       Hallakarva.
Norse-food-art (8K) 7/26/94 Article on what the Norse ate.

I would also recommend contacting Gunnora (known as the Viking Answer Lady)
and perhaps she can point you to some good sources. There are some bad ones
out there. Gunnora's email address is: gunnora at bga.com
