An extra note for non-Aussies - thin means so thin you can see the butter
etc through it for at least 50% of the area (at least to start with! ;-)
with practise, you can eat it by the fingertip-load (clean, naturally)
straight from the jar ).

Myself, I like it on either buttered or non-buttered bread or cracker
biscuits with a slice of cheese. A favourite trick with vegie on cracker
biscuits is to spread it thickly (usually with lots of butter) and squash
the biscuits together to make worm biscuits.

who buys vegemite by the 910g jar - My husband can't possibly function
without his daily dose. He substitutes cloudy ale at reenactment events,
though (which he sometimes refers to as pre-pubescent vegemite)
