Hello fellow person with Russian food interest!

>Is the Domostroi webbed anywhere? Does anyone have recipes from it webbed
>somewhere? I desperately need a couple of good Russian recipes sometime in
>the near future.

Some of the Domostroi is webbed, but I haven't seen the sections that
include recipes webbed anywhere. Can you check the English translation out
of a library? If not, I have a copy of the English as well as two Russian
versions (original and modern) and I'm willing to look things up for you.

I have the beginnings of a web page on period Russian food, but it is by no
means complete. You could try my page, which has Cariadoc's redaction of
"Russian Cabbage or Greens" on it as well as links to pages of modern
Russian and Slavic recipes.

I am working on redacting some dishes from the Domostroi, but real life has
popped up its ugly head again. If you would like menu ideas or modern
recipes, I'm game for that as well. Also, if anyone would care to share
successful Russian (or other Slavic) feast recipes, I would be happy to
post the recipe and your comments on my page.
