Helen,
I don't know about the Jordan almonds, but I snagged a recipe (from
Cariadoc's Miscellany online I believe) that had me dipping them in egg
whites and rolling them in sugar. I used raw sugar, and they turned out
great. I don't know how well they keep, though. I was warned to keep them
hidden until time to serve them, and I was just barely able to. They
disappeared so fast I swear there were pixies involved!
