Queen Ann's Lace (wild carrot) looks about as much like hemlock as parsley
does. Queen Anne's lace is feathery. Not at all large and gross like hemlock.
Hemlock also grows in WET areas. QA does not. The flower heads of QA have a
tiny colred flower in the very center and are flattened umbles that are
similar to dill. In fact, the whole plant resembles dill closer than any
other. Any part of the plant when rubbed produces a carrot odor. Hemlock does
not. The odds of starting with the wrong plant are extremely remote.

You collect the seed in the fall. Plant it in your garden in a row like any
other crop. Dig the roots in the fall. Replant in a row and save the seeds
from these. Replant the seed, etc.
