SC - elves

Adamantius mentioned the potential existence of elves in period.  I 
would like to share with you my lord husband's theory on how such 
people ought to be dealt with at the dinner table:  very, very slowly 
and clearly - his gut feeling is that people who had pointy ears and 
told people they were elves were probably sufferers of foetal alcohol 
syndrome...
