He is not dead. He is dying. He is on life support after returning from the US
where he had a bone marrow transplant in hopes of curing his leukemia. The
transplant was rejected and that, combined with the hideous afteraffects of
radiation treatments has worked together to assure is quick death. He has been
declared unfit to rule and his son has been named as his successor. I do not
know if his son has been coronated yet but would suspect not. They expect His
Majesty to pass to the Summerland at any moment.
