Actually beaver is an extraordinatily succulent and tasty meat especially when
roasted for 1 to 2 hours and then served at body temperature.. Yes, it can
some times taste somewhat' fishy' but that flavor is more like a mild tuna and
not obnoxious to the palette in the least. I find the flavor of most beaver to
be closer to beef or bear in my experience. In fact, I know a few moderns who
have eaten beavers and found them extremely tasty. :-)
