Hullo, the list!

I hope I can be forgiven raising (and doubtless perpetuating) this
subject on this list, and I really don't want to be seen as presuming on
any official status or authority, but it doesn't seem to be going away,
sooooooooooo --

I know some of us only check our e-mail every few days, and in some
cases even less, but I believe the thread on Middle Eastern
personae/garb at Pennsic, the Midrealm Seneschal's policy thereon,
reactions thereto, further reactions thereto, and "me-too's" thereto,
has been declared officially ended by our long-suffering list admin.
This was perhaps 24-36 hours ago, I believe.

A gentle on this list spoke out without thinking, many expressed
disagreement, and the gentle apologized graciously.

Enough already, okay? We all make mistakes.

I invite anyone taking exception to _this_ post to discuss it with me
privately, but please, I ask that anyone professing courtesy as a value
please consider the feelings of everyone on this list (my own included)
and refrain from continuing this line of discussion on the Cooks' List.

Thank you for your consideration.
