SC - Grits Purity

BY REQUEST- (so don't yell at me!)

Aunty 'Lainie's Double-Chocolate Death Brownies

1 cup butter
2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 cup dutch-style baking cocoa
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. bag of chocolate chips

Put sugar and cocoa in large mixing bowl, set aside. Melt butter in small
pan, till melted. Stir in half the bag of ch. chips, until melted. Dump
the chocolatey butter into the bowl of sugar and cocoa, mix well. Beat in
the eggs, one at a time. Add the vanilla and salt. Add the flour, and then
add the other half of the chips. Fold in, then pour batter into a greased
9X13 baking pan (I line mine with foil). Bake @ 350 degreees for about 30
minutes. If you want them extra decadent, you can make these additions-

more chips
flavored chips
nuts (pecans are especially good in these)

and extra decadent- a 5th egg. A real artery-buster, but ooohhhh! Call me
Meg Ryan, but they are....oohhh!...

These have paid scutage many times, ransomed the Queen, bartered camp
labor, kept Weight Watchers in business...
