How about a big deep breath and some reasoned thought?  Regardless of 
what might have been written, we know that Middle Eastern clothing 
isn't offensive.  Might it not be the nearly-bare-naked pseudo-M.E. 
clothing that is referred to?  In reality, we know that those who are 
making a reasonable attempt at medieval clothing will not be turned 
away.  It's the people who wear shorts and Pennsic t-shirt with a 
medieval belt who are the problem.  Sounds like the kitchen is getting 
too hot and affecting our brains!
