I had the fortune to visit  Perugia when I was stationed in Italy and you
can get them at the convent bakery.  The ristorante where we had lunch
served them and had a neat little write-up in the menu (which was
dutifully translated for those of us who didn't speak THAT much italian).
 They were delicious.
