SC - Gunthar's coronation

Thank you for such good wishes that my heart shrinks from fear of not
being worthy of such words yet my soul swells to accept the challenge.
As I stated in the Ceremony that elevated mere swineherd to King, we
rule because the people wish it so. The sword which is held behind me
has three edges, the first is for the strength of the Kingdom, the second
for the justice which it shall mete out to those who oppose the laws
of honor and chivalry, and the third is a reminder that the sword could
be used against me should I fail in my duties to the People.

In the real world the King of Sweden must walk past a stump with a 
headsman's axe buried in it on the way to the throne. It is a reminder
that though he is Sovereign, his people also rule. I've always liked
that and never forgot it.

Once again, my thanks and I pray to not fail.
