SC - Porridge & fish

I, a child of a mixed marriage (northerner and southerner), am totally mixed
up in my porridge eating habits.  Mom (the northerner) eats porridge with
milk and sweet stuff(brown sugar, honey,maple syrup).  Dad (the southerner)
takes his with butter and salt.  I put it all on the porridge.
