Actually there are many types of salt. The taste variations are a result of
their mineral content. And, yea, sea salt as marketed is different than say
Morton's because Morton's does not contain the minerals found in comercial sea
salts.
There are people that i know personally that will only use specific types of
salt in specific dishes.
