Thanks Brandhu - I had gone as far as drawing out diagrams for attachments,
but hadn't tried it yet. From my drawings, I had concluded that the best
method would probably be attaching the bowl with cord or (better) leather
straps to the blade end of a narrow peel, but I hadn't thought of tying it
to the side of the bowl - thanks for trying it all out!
