SC - Nerve Bisquits???

I have a very similar recipe except 2 things... 1) mine has grated rind of
two oranges and 2) roll thin and cut into shapes.

I have seen references to this on the web.. you would want to search for
pepparkaker, which i believe translates to 'medicine cakes'. I would
definitely not hang your head in shame if you bring them! They do date back
to 16th or 17th century Sweden I have read that they go back to the 1175
Nerve biscuits.

Good luck!
