Aldyth, you are hereby nominated Heroine of the Week!!!  You get an extra
goodie and time in the hot tub!


If any of them have web access, they could look at Chiquart, which is
webbed, and read the things a 15th C. cook says about Lenten food.  Can
you get them to do that?  If not, you read it, and print out some of the
recpes you like.  Chances are good that a worked out version may be
somewhere in Stefan's Florilegium, under the main ingredient heading.  If
not, we can probably help.  I'm sure he has a Lenten section, too.  


Next time, you can work on getting them to stick to one country for the
menu, but at least you got one century!
