An added factor would be that some internet providers view digests or a mass
of mail originating from a single point (e.g. sca-cooks at ansteorra.org as SPAM.
What this means is that often times the mail that it thinks is spam is held in
a cue and is released after individual messages have been processed.

For all practical purposes this means that occasionally you will not read a
mail until 1 day or so late or sometimes you can read responces to posts
before you even see the original post.

As an example, I e-mailed a question to the list day before yesterday
regarding al-Andakus and have yet to see it posted here. Then again I haven't
seen any responces to it as of this writing either. I read at least 2 of the
responces to the N-M cookie recipe post without having the post in my mail box
yet.

BTW, I have tried the recipe and it makes a GREAT cookie so those who haven't
tried it should. It is well worth effort. :-)
