SC - Tomatos as potherbs

Source of information, please? This seems highly unlikely to me since green
peppers, potatoes and eggplants are also members of the nightshade family
and cannot crossbreed. Their relationship to nughtshade is about the same as
ours is to the other great apes with which we cannot crossbreed. :-) Thanks
in advance.

	Source was live housemate reading a book for writers of 
	mysteries on clever ways to kill people, and I then
	double-checked with tableful of agronomy and
	botany grad students at University of Saskatchewan
	over Chinese food one night.  They all said
	it could be done and launched into a lengthy
	discussion of why.  Which I did not entirely take
	in, not being any of the above.  

	I suggest you check with a grad student in agronomy
	or botany or check into some published scholarly
	journals about such things.
