Well, my mother has often said that I was the only kid she ever met who
didn't really care for candy.  I'd eat things like sweet-tarts because I
liked the tart, or Planters Peanut Bars for the salty nut taste, but sweets
weren't my thing (I still don't really like chocolate).  So I guess my lack
of sweet tooth does have a lot to do with my being uninterested in
sweetened cereals or grains.  Oddly enough, my sister does like things like
chocolate (but not to the extent of many people) and she also eats her
oatmeal with butter and salt.
