Greetings, the list!

Many thanks to everyone who posted with reference to the Portuguese
cookbooks, it's very exciting that there actually _is_ something
relevant! If nothing else, the Moorish Chicken is a Shire favourite
and it'll be good to serve it again. (I didn't think to check
Cariadoc's bibliography, although I went through all the ones in the
Florilegium; he also references Crowly's translation of the
15th-century Portuguese text).

>Would anyone who has this work or access to it please e-mail me
>privately? I have all of Cariadoc's works but it is definitely NOT
>in the editions i currently have. :-(
This seems a bit odd if there is at least one recipe from it in
the Miscellany. Um, I'd be very grateful if anyone who mails Ras
could mail me too...?

many thanks,
Jehanne
