Can you tell from their quotes what the first one is? I'm not familiar with
it. Does it sound as though it is actually a cookbook written in the 16th
c., or something else written in the 16th c., or a modern book about the
16th c.? I don't read Turkish, but I have a long running project of putting
untranslated period cookbooks together with volunteer translators.

With regard to the Spanish manuscript, is this a modern Turkish translation
of a 16th c. Spanish manuscript, or a 16th c. translation?
