Cariadoc,

I have found two of the three books listed here:

This is in UC Berkeley library, but is cataloged
as "Istanbul (Turkey)--Social life and customs."
and also "Turkish translation of an anonymous
manuscript." According to Berkeley this was published
in Istabul sometime during the 1970's.

I couldn't find this on RLIN. Ana, could you give
more complete information, such as a publisher or
translator?

The actual title of this is: G"org"u ve toplum
kurallari "uzerinde ziy^afet sofralari ... . The
author is listed as being Ali, 1541-1599 or 1600.
This has been cataloged as being "Turkey--Court and
Courtiers" and "Turkey--Social life and customs".
This is available at U. of Michigan, Harvard U., U. of
Pennsylvania, and Princeton U. libraries.

So, if you are still interested in these books, you
now know there to find copies.

Huette
