Dear Elizabeth - 

Please don't feel I'm ignoring you -- it's just that every one has said it so 
much better than I can.

I certainly have never insisted on strict authenticity -- heck, I can't even 
spell the word without a spell checker -- from anyone, lest of all myself.  I 
do like to see things well done.  And, when doing things for the SCA, often 
the best way to do a thing is the authentic way.
